LT Energija develops renewable energy solutions and thus seeks to contribute to Lithuania’s energy independence, the country’s long long-term sustainable development goals, and the European ambition of a climate climate-neutral economy.

We constantly seek a balance between our activities and preserving biodiversity and ecosystems, protecting human rights and the interests of local communities. We are committed to promoting sustainable energy solutions and minimizing their environmental and social impact.

Environmental management system

We monitor our operations on a continuous basis to minimise our impact on the environment and to prevent incidents that can potentially harm the local environment and biodiversity. All our operational sites and associated offices are certified to ISO 14001.

The purpose of the human rights screening step is two-fold: to understand the human rights context in which the Pagegiai wind farm project is situated, without going into detail regarding specific human rights impacts of the proposed project; and to establish a high-level understanding of the Pagegiai wind farm project and its activities.
